How do I learn to use a sword properly? plz help?

ok so im 13 years and I love and samurai swords. I bought samurai armor a while bak and have all their weapons .. katanas, nodachi, Yumi, Naginata and all things. but I really want to learn to use a katana from his weapon usually best for a samurai. and please no answers about how young I am to be playing with swords .. Yuh if I can help id really appreciate it. thanks =)

In fact, if I remember correctly, the first choice weapon of the samurai was the naginata or yumi. I'm pretty sure that favored pole weapons on their swords when they had space for use. By the way, do not let anyone tell you you're "too young for this." You're absolutely not. I wish I had started to learn things this way before he did (started 19). This school covers Katana, Bo staff, Naginata, Wakizashi, Katana and wakizashi exercised together, yumi, and there is even a jujitsu (hand to hand) portion. You will not learn them all immediately. It's always good to start with the katana and bo is relatively brief. It is very comprehensive, and if you are as passionate as sound, absolutely going to love. Kendo is always an option, but keep in mind that the Kendo is a sport based off of real fencing: Not going to show the full potential of use of the sword. Good luck!
