Is it legal to carry a karambit (folding type) in New Jersey?
When you return to college in the fall, my bedroom and some of my classes are in a place … esque neighborhoods of the city, and many of my classes do not end until 9 at night. I was thinking of buying a portfolio of some kind of self-defense. Now I'm an art student and we carry all kinds of things normally lethal (staple / nail guns, knives former act, and hammers are basically edition standard), but just can not walk with an ex-act in his pocket and a hammer in my belt loops. The leaves are relatively short in most of the folders (1-2 inch folding rates are no longer) but I'm not entirely clear on the subject. Any advice anyone can give would be great.
I was looking for a good knife to have, but I want to try a differnet brand. Any ideas?
I want nothing from Kershaw, Benchmade, Buck, gerber, or cases and things like that just want a list of very good knife marks. and if it does not count, the knives 10, 2009. Thanks:)

Does the use of Damascus steel katanas Samurai when blacksmithing?
Any history buffs Japanese swords really know if theses were constructed Damascus steel and an outer coating for their katanas, I found that it had a softer grade of steel in the center of flexibility and durability.
