Do I need a knife with a gut hook?

I am new hunter. I have ben a marksman for years and I get a real stake in focus. my fav company are cold Kershaw knife steel and ice, I just wonder how useful knife among other things, with the hook of large intestine game? is at hand with the fish, but what about the deer and elk?

how do I sharpen a pocket knife without buying a wet stone? And is there a certain technique that works best?

I found this when I searched ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061201223601AAxq8N4&show=4 ) but I don’t have any money to spend on a wet stone, or anything else. I need a way to sharpen one without spending any money at all. Please help?
